MIT Solar Home – Project ran in 2006-2007, and was presented at the National Solar Decathlon competition at National Mall in Washington DC. Based on contemporary design and with a large solar PV system installed on its steep roof, MIT solar home was a true net-zero energy home.
Team Boston Solar Home – After the success of 2007 MIT solar home project, Boston is now represented by a team of green construction enthusiasts and is supported by Boston Architecture College and Tufts University. This time its the architecture students learning green building methods, faculty from both schools, former MIT team members, and builders throughout Boston and Massachusetts.
